God is closer to you than your jugular vein:

We learn from Qran that God’s work on the earth is done through the angles, and that our universe cannot stand the presence of God. Through remot control, however, God is closer to you than your jugular vein. Not a leaf falls without His knowledge and control.

Since we created the human being, we are fully aware of his innermost thoughts. We are closer to him than his jugular vein.

Al –anaam 59,60

At Him are the keys to all secrets, no one knows them except He. He knows everything on land and in the sea, not a single leaf falls without His knowledge, nor a seed in the darkness of the soil, nor any thing that is wet or dry, all in a profound record.

And He is the one who puts you to death during the night, and knows everything you do during the day. He resurrects you therein, until your predetermined life span is fulfilled, then you are returned to Him, then He informs you of everything you have done.
